About Vered

What do you think about when you’re out walking?

I dream mostly. . . In fact some of my best ideas come to me when I am out walking alone – well, not exactly alone, but with my dog Louie.

My name is Vered (“Rose” in Hebrew).

I got my name from my father who loved to grow all kinds of flowers, including his favorite – the rose. He loved its intoxicating smell and vibrant colors.

So, it’s crystal clear where I got my love of the beauty of nature. It didn’t hurt that I grew up right in the middle of an orchard and field!

I lived nature’s changes from season to season - its smells, tastes and colors in its vast fields, all of which stirred creativity in me then, and still do today.

In this beautiful country that I call home, I wander in the fields and orchards with Louie and encounter seasonal spring flowers, cactus flowers, bright yellow and orange summer fruit and vegetables, eucalyptus (which smell glorious after the rain), and juicy winter citrus fruit. And I dream. I’m inspired by so much beauty, color and texture to fuel my imagination. My dream is to translate all of my love and passion for nature’s beauty to you through my jewelry.

Today, I still live near the same orchard with my dog Louie and my family, which includes my husband, who is a citrus grower and marketer of oranges all over the world from Russia to Canada and the US!

Over the past 18 years, I have fulfilled my dream of becoming a goldsmith and jewelry designer.

Through my seasonal collections, my jewelry designs clearly reveal my desire to create and manifest nature at its finest.

I make my jewelry primarily with precious metals (14K, 18K gold and 925 sterling silver), precious stones (for example carnelian, citrine and peridot), various types of pearls, and leather.

I’m honored to say that my designs are sold worldwide.

I invite you to adorn yourself with one of my unique “translations of nature”, and allow yourself to dream along with me. . .
